To ensure maximum adhesion of your 100% custom kit on your 1290, follow these methodical steps based on our expertise:

Critical Degreasing ✅

Clean your fairings with isopropyl alcohol. The surface must be completely free of silicone or maintenance product residues.

Temperature & Heat ✅

Work between 15°C and 25°C. Use a heat gun to soften the vinyl over the pronounced curves of the 1290 tank.

Air Release Application ✅

Apply firm pressure from the center toward the edges. Our structured vinyl naturally evacuates air to prevent any bubbles.

Polymerization (Rest) ✅

Let the kit rest for 24h to 48h at room temperature for full adhesion before your next ride.
